Children & Young People
* All leaders of groups for children and young people are
required to hold a current Suitability card for Child Related
Employment which is issued by the Commission for Children and
Young people of the Queensland Government.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday School meets each week during school terms from 9.00
am for a time of singing, Bible stories and craft activities.
Drop your children off before the liturgy and then the teachers
will bring them to the church to participate in the Eucharist.

TREBLE CHOIR
Children (from Grade 3 upwards) meet after school each Wednesday
from 3.15 pm to 4.45 pm for afternoon tea and rehearsal for
their fortnightly anthems in the 9.00 am Eucharists. No
audition is required and children learn to read and appreciate
traditional church and chorale music.

MUSICAL MINORS & MUSICAL MAJORS
Minors - Music Readiness Classes for babies to pre-prep
children.
Majors -
Aurally based musical Literacy Classes for prep to year 2
students.
Kodaly based, vocal program, Do Re Mi accredited teacher,
supportive Christian environment.
Groups forming now for Term 1, 2012. Cost: $5 per family.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Classes of Anglican students at Ironside State School meet on
Friday mornings. Currently, there are eight classes which are
taught by a number of Christ Church parishioners.

This group is open to all students (and their friends) in Grades
8 – 10. We do fun activities on Friday nights from 6.30 to
9.00pm in the hall and is usually free.
