About Christ Church St Lucia
The present Christ Church, the Anglican Parish
Church with its slender tower lifting high the Christian symbol of
the Cross in St. Lucia, has been a landmark in the suburb for forty
years, since Michaelmas Day, 29th September, 1962.
Whether you are an Anglican from way-back, or
simply a person trying to figure out who Jesus is - and what he has
to do with your life in the twenty-first century - we hope you will
find that you come to the right place.
We invite you to bring your personal gifts,
your hopes, your doubts, your joys, your own spiritual journey, and
share them with us. Become part of our community at Christ
Church, where worship, fellowship, prayer, ministry and service are
enabling us to respond to God's call to an exciting, intimate
relationship with him.
The church doors are
always open; come in, spend some time
in quiet meditation, or share in the intimate
atmosphere of the daily services in the
chapel. Come again on Sunday, so
that you begin the week in God's house,
joining with the people of all ages who
make up our various congregations - the
early risers at 7.00am; those who find
they are uplifted in their worship by
the excellence of the 'traditional' music
which enhances the 9.00am Eucharist; the
quiet ones at 5.30pm.
Yes, it is all happening (well, most of it
anyway!) at Christ Church St. Lucia.
